The Audiology Service provides testing to patients in the areas of hearing, balance, and related disorders. By using various types of tests, our audiologist diagnoses hearing loss, identifies which portions of hearing are affected (high, middle, or low frequencies), and determines the degree of hearing loss. If the audiologist identifies hearing loss or an abnormality, she will suggest which options (such as hearing aids, cochlear implants, surgery, appropriate medical referrals) would be best for the individual patient.

Our audiologist, Joanne Anderson, is available by appointment on Mondays from 9:20 a.m. to 6:40 p.m., Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Her office is located in the basement at 10 Gove Street, adjacent to the Family Medicine Department.
