~EBNHC Awarded National Jobs Initiative Grant to Help Frontline Workers
EBNHC's Education and Training Institute has been awarded a $437,000 grant to help advance the careers of frontline health care workers by providing training to build skills, increase earning potential, and improve the quality of care and services that patients receive. “Pathways for Frontline Workers” was one of eight selected programs nationwide through Jobs to Careers: Promoting Work-Based Learning for Quality Care, a national initiative that supports a variety of projects to develop the skills of workers who deliver direct health care and services. ~EBNHC Welcomes New Primary Care Providers
Easy access to high-quality primary health care has been central to the mission of EBNHC since we first opened in 1970. One component affecting accessible health care is the availability of caregivers. Today, Massachusetts and the nation are facing a severe shortage of primary care physicians. This shortage has made it difficult for patients to obtain a primary care physician and creates delays in scheduling routine appointments. EBNHC has made significant efforts to recruit physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to expand primary care capacity to meet the needs of the population we serve. Those efforts have been successful, and today we're proud to introduce you to a few of the dedicated new providers we've hired in recent months. Meet the new members of our team.
