The East Boston Neighborhood Health Center is excited to inform you about an important new Massachusetts health care program for certain people 65 and older called the Senior Care Options program, or SCO.

SCO is a comprehensive health plan open to people who qualify for Medicare and MassHealth. It covers all of the services offered by Medicare and MassHealth through a senior care organization and its network of providers.

With SCO, you'll receive your primary health care here at the health center, with all the additional benefits below and more. In addition, you must use the Boston Medical Center as your primary hospital.

The SCO program offers you significant benefits, including:

• No co-pays
• All medications
• Dental exams and dentures, if needed
• Eyeglasses and hearing aids
• Easy access to home-care services
• 24-hour-a-day access to your nurse or provider in emergencies
