Primary CareFamily MedicineJoin the family.The Family Medicine Department of the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center looks forward to getting to know you and your family. Our team of 15 physicians and nurse practitioners specializes in the practice of family medicine because we know that our relationships—whether as parents and children, husbands and wives, or medical care providers and patients— When we build relationships with our patients that last from pregnancy and birth to the senior years, we can help prevent health problems and provide long-term, follow-up care when necessary. When we work with all members of a family, we are able to keep each person in the family as healthy as possible. EBNHC members are welcome to join the Family Medicine Department at any time, whether as a young family or as an adult with aging parents. Preventive, acute, and chronic care for all ages is provided by the department in collaboration with other programs at the health center. The Family Medicine Department also collaborates with the Women’s Health and Pediatrics Departments for those patients who prefer to continue with their obstetric or pediatric primary care providers. Life is long. In Family Medicine, we’re with you every step of the way. The Family Medicine Department is located on the ground floor at 10 Gove Street in East Boston.
