The Radiology Department at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC) provides the highest quality imaging services to patients who need x-rays, ultrasounds, mammograms, and bone density exams. Our experienced technologists work closely with Boston Medical Center’s board-certified radiologists and each patient’s primary care physician.

Mammography
Early detection remains a woman’s best defense in the battle against breast cancer, and regular screening mammograms are an essential part of routine health maintenance. Our new digital mammography equipment provides a faster, more comfortable exam.
Bone Density
Many older adults, especially women, develop osteoporosis. This disease can cause bones to thin and break easily. We offer quick, painless bone density testing to see if you have osteoporosis, which can be treated with medication to help prevent broken bones.
Hours:
- Digital x-ray (24 hours a day, every day)
- Digital ultrasound (Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
- Digital mammography (Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
- Bone density (Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
